And the chimes of freedom keep flashing...
The idea of freedom takes on new forms as HPAC visitors continue to drop off objects which represent their personal notions of what it means to be free. From household trinkets, food, newspaper articles, photographs, political writings, even contraceptive devices, it is clear that “freedom” is not a simple, or limited concept. Please take a look at and read more about the newest objects to populate our exhibition Home of the Free.

For some, freedom is more than red, white and blue…
While the uniqueness of the objects present in the exhibition Home of the Free seems to suggest that there exist very individual visions of this complicated notion, there are also trends and motifs among the objects which provide reason to think that certain aspects of freedom are ubiquitous and felt by all. It is only through many personal definitions of this idea “freedom” that we may hope to arrive at a common understanding. Please give credit to the idea of “freedom of expression” by stopping by HPAC and adding to our Home of the Free object collection.
