Straight from the Teen's Mouth...
We asked a couple of our teens from our Teen Camp to recap their experiences and what they thought of the Art Center. Gloria and Emma are cousins who attended our first session, and part of session two. In fact, Emma is from Italy, visiting Gloria for the summer, and her recap is translated below by Gloria. Teen camp was not what I expected it was so much fun the teachers were open minded to whatever you wanted to do and the cool thing was that they weren’t like “that would be stupid” but more “that’s a really cool idea” I had loads of fun making sketchbooks, paper, mosaics, doing improve watching videos of really cool artists, going to the beach, and having Ray do my henna. So please send your kids here they’ll come back home with a different view of the world. Ray. By Gloria Zingales
“We’re going to camp…BORING” but at this teen camp I’ll assure you your kids won’t want to go home. Between field trips, games, activities two weeks fly by so quickly. The teachers are fun, energetic, and good at what they do. You can’t get bored cause everyday there’s something different. Hyde Park Art Center is also well designed and is fun to be in. the performance was very weird but incredibly fun. And the staff are all really great. By Emma Cingano, translated by Gloria Zingales
