Get to know the HPAC crew: Christina Jensen!
Our second HPAC staff member of the day is Christina Jensen, Development Associate!

As Development Associate, Christina Jensen focuses on fundraising for HPAC. She writes grants, manages membership dues, the annual fund, and the money that HPAC earns from other events. Christina studied dance at the University of Northern Colorado but, after having four knee surgeries, had to choose another profession. After a year of soul-searching and volunteer work, Christina went back to school at Loyola University to receive her graduate degree in social work. Dissatisfied with that field, Christina got her job here at HPAC and decided to postpone her dream of joining the Peace Corps.
Originally from Arvada, CO, Christina loves being in the unique environment of the Art Center. She enjoys the collaborative nature of the projects here and the interaction with the community. She, in fact, discovered her favorite artist through a program at HPAC called Not Just Another Pretty Face. While on a studio visit, Christina was exposed to the work of Darrell Roberts and has admired it ever since.
