Second Sunday this November was packed with fun-filled activities for all! Exquisite corpses, Froebel blocks, and tissue paper collages were the highlights of the afternoon. Also, amongst all the excitement, the Art Center honored former Board Member, Pat Swanson for all her work through the years!
Special thanks to the Frank Lloyd Wright Preservation Trust for their Family Froebel and Pentomino workshop.
Make sure to check out all the photos below, and don’t forget to mark your calendar for next months

I was taking a mid-day mental break when I stumbled on a website called Wordle. It creates word clouds using text you input.
According to the site a word cloud creates a picture from text by “giving greater prominence to words that appear more frequently in the source text.” In other words, whatever words are used more frequently appear bigger, while less frequent words are smaller. Check out what happens when I put the Art Center’s “Who We Are” narrative into Wordle.

What’s your word cloud?
Today is the day we have all been waiting for, Election Day! This is a friendly reminder to do your part and Go Vote!
Polls close at 7pm so don’t be late.

Added bonus: You will get a I Voted Today sticker and who doesn’t want that?!
