This past Sunday HPAC held our monthly Second Sunday event with enormous success. In Studio 3 we had a wonderful Mask Making activity with Monica Herrera, where it seemed that the parents were equally as engage as their children, literally letting their animal side come out! In studio 4, William Estrada taught a DIY puppet making session. There was never a dull moment. Upstairs in Gallery 5 we hosted a Capoeira performance from the 3 Pillars Wellness Center. As the musical Berimbow echoed through the halls, it captivated the curiosity of many unassuming visitors. It was really a unique way of using the gallery space, and judging from the faces of the audience (myself included) it was an unexpected, yet welcomed, happening.
