Live Nude Girl Reading and Discussion with Kathleen Rooney and Krystal Meisel
Author Kathleen Rooney and figure model Krystal Meisel take a revealing look at the world of figure modeling. Rooney will read from her book Live Nude Girl a memoir detailing her six years spent working as a figure model. Krystal Meisel is a figure model for painting and drawing classes at the Hyde Park Art Center, as well as a photographer and teaching artist in her own right. After the reading there will be a brief, interactive discussion with both Rooney and Meisel where both give there impression on what it’s like to be art.
