Precariat features artists whose interdisciplinary practices produce work in response to identity, social issues, and activism. Featuring work by Angela Davis Fegan , Kiam Marcelo Junio , Betsy Odom , Oli Rodriguez , Amina Ross , Anna Showers-Cruser , Leonard Suryajaya , Ruby Thorkelson and Derrick Woods-Morrow , Precariat asks how we can fruitfully gather in the face of an uncertain future as bodies susceptible to daily violence, brought on by unwarranted fear and rooted in historic bias. Learn more.

PUBLIC SCHOOL includes new work by Jim Duignan, of the Stockyard Institute, in collaboration with artist and educator Rachel Harper, of Seen + Heard that creates a imagination-inducing installation of curious objects - including a fort, a stage, a tower, a piano, and a decommissioned school bus - to construct a new playground for all ages. The installation will be activated by interdisciplinary projects from progressive Chicago-based artists and educators: Jacinda Bullie, William Estrada, Jaquanda Villegas, and Irina Zadov. Learn more.

Rhonda Wheatley: A Modern Day Shaman's Hybrid Devices, Power Objects, and Cure Books showcases sculptures created using vintage and found materials, which act as tools of healing and transformation, working with the user’s conscious and subconscious mind, cellular memories, ancestors, and past and future lifetimes.
