This 5-week introductory course is intended for students with little or no previous drawing experience. Like the name says, anyone can do it! Students will learn fundamental drawing techniques, including gesture, contour, cross-contour, value rendering and markmaking, and perspective. For the final class we will apply these skills to the human figure, working from a live nude model.

This 5-week SHORT is intended for students with little or no previous painting experience. Anyone can do it! Students will learn fundamental painting techniques including the monochrome and value, color temperature and the color wheel, mixing compliments to get neutrals, direct painting, underpainting, and glazing. For the final class we will apply these skills to the human figure, working from a live nude model.

Even you! This 5-week short will introduce you to the ins and out of hand and machine sewing through fun and functional projects. Through several quick and fun projects, students will learn everything from stitches to finishing techniques. You don't even have to have your own machine!
