In this class, the student will acquire a basic knowledge of human anatomy by creating an Écorché (ay-kor-shay). By sculpting bones and muscles on an armature constructed in class, students will learn on a three dimensional figure how muscles and bones are the basic underlying structure that an artist needs to understand when representing the human figure.
