This class explores one for the most exciting approaches to working with clay in contemporary ceramics. Use expanded wheel and handbuilding techniques, either separately or together, to develop the sculptural character of vessels and non-functional forms. Learn about altered throwing., make and use molds in handbuilding, generate and assemble components to build larger forms,and use glaze and other finishes as important and integral part of working kin clay. Students of all skill levels are welcome.
