Join us in the challenge of going beyond what you already know about clay and the forms of teapots. We will explore the history of teapots and venture into the great unknown of the future of this vessel. Have the basics of throwing down and want to learn how to create sculptural or functional pieces in a new way? Moderate and experienced throwers encouraged! Students will also experiment with washes, slips, and underglazes. Some clay is provided and additional clay will be available for purchase.
