In this class students will learn about the history and current issues within documentary photography and develop an individual documentary project. Find a story to be seen and heard and learn to convey your message to a larger audience. Learn to develop your own vision as a photographer and how to make clear your own position. Students will also explore different approaches and types of source material and consider ethical questions about documentary presentation. Students can work digitally or shoot on film but all students will work with Photoshop.
