Learn to cut glass and build a stained glass panel from a variety of colored and textured glass. Quality of material and its efficient and appropriate use will be emphasized. Traditional construction techniques will be taught in addition to cutting techniques and a foundation in design and reinforcement. Topics for discussion will include safety in the work environment, care and selection of art glass, leading and soldering techniques, and basic objectives for design and reinforcement techniques. More advanced students will refine skills as they work with their own designs. Supplies included.
