Visual art is a reliable friend of the writer, yet we often write without tapping into this valuable resource. In this course we will draw upon visual art at the HPAC for inspiration, information, conversation and playfulness. Expect to use visual art to listen, experiment with form, and to generate new work. We’ll also examine work by other poets and share original work. All levels of writers are welcome. Our goal will be to establish a positive environment for critical feedback and community. Optional: Bring 11 copies of a poem you have written and desire feedback on.
