Explore drawing materials and tools like charcoal, graphite, and pastel while working from memory, still life, and the figure. Drawing processes and techniques will be explored using different materials to describe drawing elements such as light, value, line, shape, mark, weight, and composition. This course will help students develop observational drawing skills and will also emphasize concept, narrative, and self-awareness.
