Push your boundaries and expand your creative comfort level by working large. Students can work in any direction - abstract, figurative, landscape, etc. - but all paintings will be 4 × 5 feet or larger. This class will force you to test your boundaries—you will have to use your whole body to make a painting and maybe a stepstool, too! There will be weekly feedback, a five week mini class critique and a final critique with a celebration party! Different art history references will be brought in each week for inspiration. Oils, acrylic, house paint and any of your other chosen medium is acceptable in this creative class.
