Burnt cigarettes, coffee, and other unlikely substances make beautiful drawings when handled by Chicago-based French artist David Gista. Learn how to combine a variety of untraditional materials and techniques to make art. Students are encouraged to bring in their own materials as well as experiment with the mixed media provided. Gista will give a demonstration of his drawings made with a torch during the event on Saturday, June 21 from 8-9 pm.
