Students will investigate many different types of pollutants that exist in our society - from environmental and social harms to political and socio-economic pollutants. Students will then represent these pollutants and their possible solutions through a new take on public service announcements. This class will explore non-toxic art media and their properties and investigate form, shape, line, value, hue, composition, gradation and more while formulating ideas about the community and exploring personal beliefs.
