This course will introduce students to the tools and techniques necessary to express themselves with paint. Students will learn fundamentals of color mixing, how to handle paint, and hot to keep brushes and colors bright. Students will be introduced to line, value, and color as they work with still life abstract subjects. During each session the students will push their creative boundaries by viewing the work of other artists and presenting their paintings to the class to stimulate discussion among their peers.
