Ahmed (He/Him) believes that the most important part of a practice as an artist is venturing outside of your comfort zone. He has led mosaic projects internationally, including as part of the Sabry Mansour artist team at the Ahram Canadian University in Cairo and at Helwan University, as well as projects sited around the Greater Chicagoland area. Based in Chicago, he teaches at Hyde Park Art Center, The Art Center Highland Park, and The Stirling Hall Art Center. Ahmed received a Bachelor’s degree in Mural Arts from Helwan University in Cairo, Egypt. Learn more about Ahmed’s practice here.
