Brian Parris (He/Him) is a Bajan-American ceramic whose work is inspired by his birthplace of New York City and his upbringing in the Pacific North-West. artist known for his functional pottery and water-relief/hydro-abrasion technique and sprayed engobe on wheel-thrown porcelain. Brian’s surface decoration reference nature and his urban surroundings embedded in organic and geometric shapes. Brian is the Ceramics Studio Head at Hyde Park Art Center.
