Workshop Description:
This workshop is designed to provide participants with investigation and translation of Visual Language that is used in Ancient African Cultures. African Symbolism tell a story using Symbolic Significance and Ornamentation! We will use authentic hand-carved Adinkra Stamps from the Akan Tribe in Ghana, West Africa to tell your story! All workshop materials provided by the Hyde Park Art Center!
