EAP: Experimental Art Process
This is intuitive art making that employs writing, intention, making and sharing as tools to gain personal insight and clarity. This process is recommended for any person seeking a catalyst to access their inner resources and deepen creativity. EAP! is based off the Open Studio Projects 5 step method, in which the instructor is a certified affiliate facilitator. The workshop is process based: process and discovery are valued over product. Materials will be provided.
This workshop will be lead by Justin T. Nalley, a Chicago based visual artist, poet and educator. He received his BA in Photography from Columbia College and teaches at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. With a belief in art making as therapy and communication, Nalley seeks to empower and become empowered through his persona practive, pedagogy, and healing arts workshops.
