This month’s artist talk Andreas Fischer joins us to talk about his exhibition Ghost Town, on display January 17-April 18, 2010. Ghost town features his Sunday Best series which was inspired by tintype portrait photographs of ordinary people from the Gold Rush era. By enlivening these dated portraits, Fischer attempts to re-imagine the representation of history.
