Chicago Artists Month Opening Celebration

You’re invited to Bunjin: A Celebration of Spirit and Soul to kick off Chicago Artists Month 2008!

Enjoy a global mix of exhibitions and performances, including Are We There Yet? a photographic exhibition curated by Dawoud Bey, portraits by Dale Washington, singing by the Black Monks of Mississippi and Butoh dance by Nicole LeGette. Asian food provided. Free admission. Presented by the Chicago Department of Cultural Affairs, Hyde Park Art Center and the Yamaguchi Institute.
