COMMUNITY GATHERING: MOVEMENT WORKSHOP WITH LETICIA CONTRERAS

Join us Wednesday, June 5th from 6-7pm for a Movement Workshop with Leticia Contreras, who is the Jackman Goldwasser Visiting Resident in from Houston, Texas as part of our 2:2:2 Exchange with Project Row Houses. Initiated in 2014, this exchange provides an opportunity for artists to research localized ways of making in a different city, to enhance their practices at home.
Contreras is a defines her practice as “This queer, afro-xicana, tejana hopes to cultivate and curate a digi-space that holds room for celebration, grieving, healing, and reflection.” Join us for somatic exercises to ground us in our present selves.
