Burnt cigarettes, coffee, and other unlikely substances make beautiful drawings when handled by Chicago-based French artist David Gista. learn how to combine a variety of untraditional materials and techniques to make art. Students are encouraged to bring in their own materials as well as experiment with the mixed provided. Gista will give a demonstration of his drawings made with a torch during the event on Saturday, June 21 from 8-9 pm. Saturday, June 28 & Sunday, June 29, 1-3 pm $70 for members, $80 for non-members (per day).
