Elke Claus – CREATE YOUR OWN HANDMADE BOOKS! Participants will create their own illustrated, hand-bound books. Starting with blank paper and a cover, they will sew a “pamphlet stitch” style book. Text and images will be provided using collage and rubber stamping. This is a great activity for tapping into the creative side of both adults and children, who will leave with their own, unique “Artist’s book”.

Candice Latimer will use the current exhibit “Not Just Another Pretty Face” as inspiration to explore portraiture. Participants will make paper silhouettes of their profile and embellish it using other materials
