K[ne(e){a}d]

July 17, 2014 @ 3:00 PM - 5:00 PM

A community that stays together bakes bread together!

K[ne(e){a}d] places the ancient technological advance of combining heat, food and terra cotta into gallery spaces.  Artists Amber Ginsburg and Joe Madrigal invite you to bake bread with them, activating a chain of human activity on the decline.  The domestic, the gallery, and the public, and actions around the heat of a fire come together to perform the long narrative that is cooking.

Knead the dough, fill (provocative) bread molds, bake bread in HPAC’s kilns and eat the bread with good company and good conversation!
