Soundscaping improvised live by electric violinist David Schulman fill the latest installation by Tina Tahir, Botany of Desire. Schulman’s music has been described by The Washington Post as “mysterious and beautiful,”and has been heard serendipitously around HPAC at odd moments since 2014. In building live soundscapes for Tahir’s installation, Schulman finds musical uses for cast-off materials that Tahir used in the creation of her piece.
