Build Your Own Pram a multi disciplinary project in which a pram (small boat) serves as a
metaphor for something that carries life experiences. Artist Kathryn Trumbull Fimreite will provide hands on instruction of assembling a small (6-12”) pram by weaving negatives and copper wire. Participants are encouraged to bring their own, or donated negatives will be provided. Paint markers allow participants to personalize their own pram.
Suzanne Sebold will work with you to decorate Chinese paper lanterns using a variety of color sources. The Chinese lanterns can be drawn on directly to create a decorative pattern and then water color paints can be applied onto the diffusing paper.
