Join us for a rehearsal for Spectrum of Immersion. Part opera, part lecture, part improvisation on instruments made of broken furniture parts, and old school furniture, the operetta will explore death and redemption, collective trauma and transformation, and the conditions of commitment in a landscape as a utopian an apocalyptic endeavor. An original score composed by Leroy Bach adapted from essays by John Preus and performed by New Material with soprano Sarah Lawrence, and other guest musicians with traditional and invented instruments.
