Sock Puppets – Join Teaching Artist Dorian Sylvain to create a hand puppet from a cotton sock and visit three stations to add hair, facial features and costumes for your character using felt, yarn google eyes, ribbon, pipe cleaners and beads.  Second Sunday is free.

If you have a young person in grades 6 – 8 please see the workshop listed for this same date – October 8, 2017  The workshop is called “Building for Tomorrow Today” which is in collaboration with the Chicago Architecture Biennial.  The workshop will last 1.5 hours and will be offered twice (the same workshop) from 1- 2:30 p.m. and from 2:30 – 4 p.m. –  this is a free workshop but we recommend prior registration.
