Second Sunday Free Family Art Making Activity and Anti-Colonial Day Fall Family Day in association with Make Yourself Useful

November 10, 2019 @ 1:00 PM - 4:00 PM

Join teaching artist Emily Lindskoog to create torn paper flower collages. Experiment with different flowers and color combinations to create a bright bouquet to take home. If you wish , make a few more flowers to add to our growing “Community Garden” collaborative collage.

Fall is here and it is the perfect time to make some new art. We will be using warm colors and tissue paper to create some seasonal fall decor. Teaching Artist Terah Weddington will lead this workshop

This is a reminder to hold the date Sunday, November 10, 2019 from 1 – 4 p.m.for our family art making activity. This is a free event and although it is family oriented, the focus on the projects is for younger participants (pre-K – 2nd – 4th grades).

There will also be a celebration of Anti-Colonial Fall Family Day in association with Make Yourself Useful

This fun event will include art activities led by Sarita Garcia and Joseph Josue Mora, films and documentaries for both children and adults, story-telling, button making, and more!

So there will be multiple activities at Hyde Park Art Center for all to enjoy!
