Part of our monthly family series, Second Sunday features free drop-in art making workshops for the whole family. This month features special guest workshop with the Digital Youth Network. Join us as DYN students teach you digital media skills, such as movie making, photography and sound. The Digital Youth Network, part of the Urban Education Institute at the University of Chicago is an education model that encourages youth ranging from 6th through 8th grade to explore their own questions and push their imagination through new media technologies.
We’ll also have instructors from Three Pillars Fitness showing us how to do some capoeira moves. Capoeira is the Brazilian fighting style that mixes music, dance rhythms and martial arts. Check out some of the cool moves!
