Held in conjunction with the current exhibition Taking Shapes in Gallery 2, the artists/scientists collaborative Molecular Movement presents a free workshop open to all ages.

Come by for a 30 minute educational workshop on the relationship between solids, liquids, and gases. Concepts will be taught through a variety of interactive, visual, and tactile methods. This fun and engaging activity encourages participation to experience and learn about particle movement like no other class!

Molecular Movement is an ongoing collaboration between graduate students in Visual Art, Chemistry, and Psychology at the University of Chicago. As a research project, it brings together artists and scientists to explore molecular dynamics simulations as the basis for a novel form of dance.
