Annual Hyde Park Art Center Members’ Show, 1990

The exhibition featured works by Hyde Park Art Center members in a variety of media that included photography, works on paper, paintings, and crafts. The exhibition provided Art Center members the opportunity to exhibit their work in a gallery setting and compete for awards given by a jury. The jurors for the 1990 Member’s Show included Richard Rezac and Lynn Warren.

Rezac a sculptor studied at Pacific Northwest College of Art in Portland, Oregon (BFA 1974) and received his MFA from Maryland Institute in 1982. His small sculptures were exhibited at the Museum of Contemporary Art in an exhibition entitled Options 38: Richard Rezac in the Spring of 1990.

Lynne Warren a Curator at the Museum of Contemporary Art received the American Museum Associations award of excellence for the nationally acclaimed exhibition Dogs in 1983. Warren received her BFA from the School of the Art Institute in 1976.
