Homegrown: Selected Produce

Homegrown: Selected Produce, was an exhibition of artwork by over 50 artists enrolled in its adult studio art classes. 2000 was the last time this signature show been included in the exhibition schedule, which promised many never-before-seen works. Homegrown: Selected Produce blossomed with a wide range of locally produced art in an assortment of media including painting, drawing, photography, ceramics, stained glass, sewing arts and more!

For over sixty-five years, the Hyde Park Art Center provided innovative exhibitions and education programs in the visual arts for children and adults of diverse backgrounds. Through dozens of new program initiatives and partnerships each year, the Art Center continued to reach out to students of all ages to transform learning and living through the arts. Homegrown demonstrated the high quality and creativity of the Art Center’s visual artists. It was also a chance for new artists to gain exposure to a broad base of art enthusiasts.
