Language Art

The exhibition featured new work made in collaboration between teaching artist Suzanne Sebold-Suso, preschool students, and their parents in the Art Center’s Discover Art class. All of the students in the class speak languages other than English: Korean, Spanish, Arabic, Hebrew, Mandingo (West African), and Chinese. The artwork created focused on the words “peace,””love,” and “understanding” and interpreted them through a visual language in addition to the other languages listed.
