The Lithuanian-American Women Artists Association was organized in 1971. These women were bound together by their common heritage as well as their dedication to Art as a way of life. Exhibiting as a group has proved an effective tool in relaying collective ideals as well as the individual statements. Interaction and exchange of ideas were integral parts of the group which engaged in an constant effort to communicate them with the community at large.
