“What Time Is It?: A Portrait Project by Irina Zadov” is a digital portrait series projected on the exterior of the Art Center building in the Jackman
Goldwasser Catwalk Gallery.
Heather Brammeier’s exhibition Maybe Never is an immersive installation that incorporates contrasting colors and geometric forms to engage viewers’ physical and perceptual boundaries.
Through an extensive studio and public art practice, Chicago-based artist Gabriel Villa seeks to seamlessly translate the language of Mexican traditions and the personal, urban American experience into charged intimate narratives. Villa’s subjects are ever evolving but always concentrate on psychological and social inequity in our multifaceted contemporary world. His stream of consciousness approach to painting and drawing expose the heightened reality found in everyday objects and places. Hyde Park Art Center is proud to introduce Villa’s new direction into installation, clay sculpture created during his Jackman Goldwasser Residency along with previous paintings.
